Children in Classroom

Family Centered Treatment (FCT) through Support, Inc. is an evidenced-based and trauma-informed treatment model as well as a clinically credentialed training program for both the supervisor and therapist. FCT is delivered by one primary licensed clinician in the client’s home with strong team and supervisory support.
FCT views the family as the client and works collaboratively with the entire family system in a strength-focused manner to improve areas of family functioning that are directly impacting the identified child’s behavioral and mental health symptoms.
The FCT model utilizes eco-structural family therapy and emotionally-focused therapy models, completing activity-based interventions with the family in a collaborative manner and in a strategic order. FCT is designed to lead to internalized and sustained changes within families. Primary goals of FCT include reducing rates of child abuse, neglect, and dependency and minimizing out of home placements as well as transitioning a child successfully back into the family after an out of home placement.
