Support, Inc.’s Intensive In-Home service is nationally accredited and includes lead therapists who coordinate three-person teams that provide person-centered and family-focused treatment for children and adolescents who are at risk of out-of-home placement and/or need to be stabilized within the home setting.
Through a trauma-informed lens, teams use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and ecosystemic interventions to support and assist the family unit through both family and individual therapy. Teams provide skill-building training to the child or adolescent in the home and equip caregivers with parenting skills to maintain and/or stabilize the child or adolescent in the home.
Goals of Intensive In-Home services:
- Provide individual and family therapeutic services that address high-risk behaviors, emotional and mental health problems
- Provide first-responder intervention and support to address crisis situations
- Link to appropriate community services and resources
- Prevent out-of-home placement for the child or adolescent
